Non-partisan fact-check website Politifact.com evaluated recent claims made about taxes by Sarah Palin on Fox News and found them as fact-challenged as most of the rest of her public statements. Palin's claim that "democrats do not have a plan for extending the Bush tax cuts" was rated "False." Her claim that "Democrats are poised now to cause the largest tax increase in U.S. history" was so far off that it received the coveted "Pants on Fire" award.
Ezra Klein provides a more reality-based graph of the results to taxpayers of extending the Bush tax cuts (as advocated by the GOP) versus the Obama tax plan.
