Jon Stewart of The Daily Show offers a hilarious take on right-wing fears that President Obama's health care summit is "a trap." That's right, having to face the President in front of C-SPAN cameras and representatives of the Congressional Budget Office and actually spell out and defend a plausible alternative to the House and Senate bills is a dirty trick.
Credit Obama for calling the GOP's bluff and holding them accountable for false claims about health care reform. Obama has stretched the facts at times on health care reform himself. However, he is the one pushing for an open public discussion refereed by the non-partisan CBO while House Minority leader John Boehner (egged on by Rush Limbaugh) is looking to weasel out.
